Studies in journals like the Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle indicate that more muscle can mean better mobility, reduced risk of serious illnesses, and even improved survival rates among cancer patients.

In fact, findings by Prado et al. highlight how muscle preservation is a key factor in longevity, especially after 45 and 65 years of age.
